Laminating - plasticizing
Laminating is the application of a plastic layer over printed matter. It is also called plasticizing. The result is then protected against, for example, weather influences. Consider, for example, menus, placemats, walking and sailing maps that should not get wet.
CopyShop The Hague has a laminating machine that can laminate all formats up to A3 (29.7x42cm). When laminating, a plastic layer is applied to both sides of the printed matter using a laminating sleeve. You can choose from flexible lamination and firm lamination depending on the desired strength and glossy or matt laminate.
We have examples of thin (80 micron), medium (125 micron) and sturdy (250 micron) laminating in our store, so you can see and feel for yourself to make the right choice.
Our laminating machine is super fast, allowing us to deliver hundreds of pieces within a day.
